❓ What is DBT?

It means government money goes directly into your bank account from any schemes.

- Is DBT Active or Not in your bank account?
- Is your Aadhaar linked to your bank through NPCI?

🆕 In 2025, the Government has launched a new portal where you can check DBT status easily by using Aadhaar.

🧭 Steps to Check DBT Enabled/Disabled
✅ Step-by-Step Guide:
- 🌐 Visit the official website of NPCI:
https://www.npci.org.in - 👤 Click on the “Consumer” option on the homepage.
- 🏦 Now select “DBT Status Check” or “DBT India” option.
- 🔢 Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number.
- 📲 You will get an OTP on your Aadhaar linked mobile number.
- 🔐 Enter the OTP to see your DBT status.
👀 What Will You See?
After checking, you will know:

| DBT is Active | DBT is Not Active |
| Aadhaar is Linked to Bank | Aadhaar is Not Linked |
If everything is green/tick (✅) — you are eligible to receive money!
💡 What to Do If DBT is Not Active?
If your DBT is not enabled or Aadhaar not linked, do this:
- 🏦 Visit your bank branch
- 📄 Give your Aadhaar card
- ✍️ Ask to link it from NPCI for DBT
- 📬 After some days, check your status again using the same steps above for checking your DBT is active or not active.
